Financial Systems Manager

As a member of Corporate Finance team, the Financial Systems Manager, will be responsible for service delivery across a variety of technology initiatives in support of the Financial Reporting processes and systems. As a Financial Systems Manager you will be well versed in the financial reporting applications and tools that support forecasting, budgeting, month end reporting, key metrics and dash-boarding, general ledger, reconciliations and consolidated global reporting.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Lead maintenance and implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and reporting tools across Idera and acquisitions. 
  • Collaborate effectively and actively with CFO, Corporate and business unit VPs, Finance, and other identified partners to determine future state needs and streamlining of systems, processing, reporting, including key metrics dashboards.
  • Work with Finance Business Partners to define and execute a short and long term roadmap.
  • Improve upon existing Planning tool capabilities.
  • Lead account reconciliation tool selection, implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Train financial system users as applicable.
  • Serve as point of contact from an application perspective.
  • Manage fiscal budget for application enhancements / support projects.
  • Manage and support interfaces to / from applications from a day to day perspective as well as large scale projects that impact the company world wide
  • Manage prioritization process for application enhancements / support projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Management Information Systems or Accounting
  • At least 5 years’ experience in functional knowledge of financial processes and monthly, quarterly, and yearly close cycles.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in implementing and supporting Financial ERP systems like Intacct, Adaptive and Great Plains/Dynamics including their integration with other systems such as SFDC, Avalara, etc.
  • Experience in financial reporting, metrics and key finance performance indicators
  • Experience supporting ERP systems
  • Strong business knowledge and process design skills
  • Ability to manage change and process improvements effectively
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work with technical (IT) on-shore/off-shore teams
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills
  • Build and maintain relationships across all levels of finance and systems
  • Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload with minimal guidance
  • Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
