What is the opportunity?

  • We are seeking a General Manager to lead one of our brands. Following a post-acquisition restructuring, this brand needs a revenue- and go-to-market-focused leader who will bring a fresh perspective and drive growth. This role will report directly to the Business Unit General Manager (a member of the Senior Executive Team).
  • This role is both operational and strategic. Specific functions will include (i) defining the growth and operating strategy for a B2B software brand, (ii) managing the P&L and day-to-day operations of a software product or product suite, (iii) managing a cross-functional team that includes sales, marketing, product management, and shared administrative services (finance, HR, etc.), (iv) analyzing data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and owning the execution of those opportunities and (v) collaborating with other businesses within the applicable Business Unit and Idera leadership.
  • While experience matters, Idera values talent and hard work more. The General Manager program is designed to develop and grow leaders. We will be challenged every step of the way and given incredible opportunities to learn and become an exceptional software executive.

What does it take to succeed?
  • A Learner’s Mindset: Desire to learn and adapt in a rapidly growing and changing environment.
  • Focus on Results: Results matter. Idera rewards those who deliver – you should be a self-starter motivated by achieving outstanding results.
  • Experience with Software/Technology Industry Revenue Generation: 5+ years of software/technology industry experience (preferably in a revenue-generating role, but other experience will be considered).
  • Financial Proficiency: Ability to read, understand, and analyze financial statements.
  • Skills: Team leadership; ruthless prioritization; complex critical thinking and problem-solving; highly organized; detail-oriented; strong written and oral communication skills; ability to identify opportunities and find a way to get things across the finish line.
  • Qualities: Tenacious and hungry. Exceptional ability to prioritize, focus, and understand the big-picture implications of seemingly routine tasks. Quick learner with the ability to execute, follow instructions, and not be intimidated by getting thrown into the deep end (or anything else for that matter).
  • Successful GMs have had both software GTM experiences or alternative experiences from investment banking, management consulting, and PE/venture capital firms. Finance or operations experience at a software company may also suffice. Talent is what we seek.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability
Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026
Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
