About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading SaaS tool whose success is primarily driven by product-led growth. As the Paid Media Specialist, your mission is planning, executing, and managing paid media advertising for TestRail. 

This role will involve having a deep understanding of the brand’s quarterly goals, objectives, and key results and aligning the paid media campaign objectives to these OKRs. You will monitor campaign outcomes and quality and consistently and proactively evaluate new opportunities to maximize performance. 

You’ll report to the Digital Marketing Manager for the TestRail Marketing Team. Given the nature of the role, you’ll work closely with many individuals across our team to improve our ad messaging and targeting.

 

What you'll do:

  1. Design and manage ad campaigns, write ad copy and coordinate the creation of compelling offers, landing pages, and creative assets with internal and external design and development resources and subject matter experts that will help address those pain points across the various stages of product awareness
  2. Drive decisions around campaign architecture and setup for Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and/or any other channels we consider advertising in the future 
  3. Map out opportunities to create more demand-gen content and build the funnel of ads that optimizes capturing existing market demand as well as ad programs that will help move people in our from “Problem aware” to “Most aware”
  4. Pull platform data & prepare reports around key KPIs and business outcomes generated by our paid social media investments (including campaign and ad analysis)
  5. Work within the marketing team to ensure short and long-term targets are being met and learnings are shared to support and scale paid search and social marketing.
  6. Supports in developing budget projections and monitoring and updating budget-tracking and other financial reporting documents to planned campaign budgets while maintaining performance goals 
  7. Collaborate with the Social Media & Content team and other Paid Media Managers to establish and evolve the paid social strategy
 

About you:

  • At least three years of relevant experience in paid media advertising, especially in a demand-generation-focused environment
  • A B2B demand gen background is preferred, especially in the software development/SaaS environment
  • A strong knowledge of best practices for Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and other media paid advertising platforms relevant to B2B SaaS
  • Knowledge of tracking pixels, UTM parameters, and basic tracking code implementation (Google Tag Manager knowledge is good to have)
  • Knowledge of web analytics platforms like Google Analytics and reporting tools such as Looker Studio
  • Good knowledge of analyzing data sets, formulas, and pivot tables in Excel, Google Sheets and/or BI tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Experience with budget management for paid media campaigns
  • Experience working with CRM systems (preferably HubSpot) is valued
  • You’re a team player and a responsible person. You have a flexible & agile working attitude with good problem-solving skills
