Role Overview:
As the WebOpsTeam Manager at Sembi, you’ll lead the management, development, and performance of web experiences across our portfolio of DevOps, QA, and security software brands. This is a hybrid role that blends
people leadership, project management, and hands-on front-end development and is ideal for someone who thrives in both strategic and execution-focused environments. You will report to the Vice President of Marketing and manage a skilled team of front-end design and development professionals to drive website initiatives that power demand generation, enhance user experience, and elevate brand perception. This role requires a strong understanding of WordPress, front-end development, website operations, and the ability to collaborate cross-
functionally across marketing, product, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Web Leadership and Execution: Own and manage all web operations across Sembi brand websites, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience aligned with brand and performance goals.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of four (UX designer, two front-end developers, one analytics manager) to execute web projects, while actively mentoring and supporting their development.
  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, product, IT, and brand teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver website updates, refreshes, campaign pages, and new feature implementations.
  • Hands-On Development: Contribute directly to front-end development projects, especially those involving WordPress themes, templates, and site components.
  • Site Optimization and Governance: Maintain web standards, performance, SEO, accessibility, security, and compliance (including GDPR and cookie management). Ensure reliability and uptime across all domains.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Work with the analytics manager to establish dashboards, monitor performance, and deliver insights that drive site optimization and conversion improvements.
  • Innovation and Scalability: Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and processes that improve efficiency, scalability, and performance across our multi-brand web ecosystem.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 6+ years in website operations or front-end development, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
  • latform Proficiency: Deep experience with WordPress, including custom development, plugin management, and performance optimization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML and CSS; experience with Git, GA4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO best practices.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable reviewing data, running performance audits, and using insights to inform design and development choices.
  • Team Leadership: Strong people skills, with experience mentoring designers and developers and coordinating across departments.
  • Remote Readiness: Self-starter who thrives in a remote-first team and excels in asynchronous communication.
